Comments : A nice big asscher cut amethyst of the soft and delicate Rose de France variety. This gem has a wonderful clarity about it and to use an old term, has a "fine water". It is sharply cut and polished and would make a fine addition to anyone's collection.

Comments : A flawless eye clean O'Briens Creek topaz cut in the Egyptian Asscher design. This has a nice sharp symmetry and performs well. The black that you can see in some of the photos is simply a reflection of the camera lens which, funnily enough, is also black. There is no black in this gem... it is a bright silvery white. A very nice gem!

Comments : A lovely eye clean natural blue topaz. This gem is nicely cut in a variation of the classic asscher design called the "Egyptian Asscher". It has very nicely defined geometric patterns that show up well in the soft blue tones of this gemstone.

Comments : This classic Egyptian asscher cut yellow beryl is a very lovely gemstone indeed. It is the same family that aquamarine and emeralds belong to. Unfortunately I have a hard time photographing yellow... its a devilishly tricky colour to capture... that and pale pink! The pictures look a bit on the dark side and seem to be a bit more golden/brownish then they should be. In person the stone is much more light lemony yellow and brilliant and doesn't have the darker golden browns. I think it picks up these tones from the camera lens... its literally only an inch or two away from the stone and the black of the lens gets picked up in the facet reflections... well, thats my theory anyway. It really is a great stone, light and airy.
