What a lovely colour this soft pink is. I like rose quartz for its dreamlike natural... it doesn't cut a bright flashy gem like topaz rather it is more suited I think to an artistic and gently flowing style of design. This design features a "frosted" five petaled flower design on the pavilion. The flower reminds me of a peony. I think this gem would make a nice pendant set in gold.

It is a gem that is immediately recognisable and adored for its soft, pink, dreamy appearace. This gemstone on offer here is a fine example of rose quartz at its best. It is cut in one of my favorite designs : Yin-Yang. This design goes so well with the dreamy nature of rose quartz and the ideals associated with Yin-Yang, namely those of peace, harmony and balance, complement those of rose quartz perfectly... an ideal match.
