The select facet rough on these pages will give you an indication of some of the beautiful stones I have available.
This rough is not for sale as rough - it is for customers to select and have a bespoke gem cut especially for them.

Garnet

	Stone : Rhodolite Garnet Item : #r184 Origin : Africa Weight : 26.7 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : A top quality rhodolite garnet! This stone shows a raspberry pinkish red colour and appears to be nice and clean. I think it will cut an oval around 11x15mm. This will be a spectacular gemstone.
	Stone : Rhodolite Garnet Item : #r185 Origin : Africa Weight : 19.3, 19.8 ct Clarity : Very Very Slightly Included / Eye Clean Comments : Here are a couple of fine rhodolite garnets. They both have the classic raspberry pinkish red colour. These gems will cut round or square cushions in the 9-11mm size range.
	Stone : Malaya Garnet Item : #r183 Origin : Tanzania Weight : 13.5 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : This is a very fine malaya garnet and shows a rich, wine red. The stone appears to be eye clean and I think it will cut around a 9-10mm square cushion or round design.
	Stone : Umbalite Garnet Item : #r156 Origin : Umba Valley, Tanzania Weight : 8.9 ct Clarity : Eye Clean / Very Very Slightly Included Comments : These two umbalites should cut a nicely matched pair of 6mm rounds. They look to be very clean pieces of stones and I expect that they will cut eye clean to very very slightly included stones.
	Stone : Umbalite Garnet Item : #r155 Origin : Umba Valley, Tanzania Weight : 8.9 ct Clarity : Eye Clean / Very Very Slightly Included Comments : Another fine umbalite garnet from Tanzania. This garnet looks to be very clean and I expect that it will eye clean to very very slightly included. Would suit a round, oval or square cushion design.
	Stone : Umbalite Garnet Item : #r154 Origin : Umba Valley, Tanzania Weight : 9.6 ct Clarity : Very Slightly Included Comments : This umbalite garnet is a wonderful stone with the classic pink/magenta hues. It is a little more saturated then the stones shown in #151. It is well shaped for a square cut, like a square cushion. It is very slightly included with typical garnet inclusions but they are minor. This will cut a beautiful gem.
	Stone : Fanta Orange Spessartite Mandarin Garnet Item : #r152 Origin : Loliondo, Tanzania Weight : 7.8, 8.1, 6.3, 5.7, 5.2, 4.8 carat Clarity : Very Slightly Included Comments : In my opinion, this is the most intensely orange gemstone in the game. This mandarin garnet has the highly desirable "fanta" orange colour. Gems cut in this material have to be seen to be believed as it truely is incredibly bright and sparkly. This material has characteristic inclusions common to this type of garnet, namely very small bubble like sparkles. Please be aware that this material is getting terribly expensive! Anything over 5 carats rough sees the price per carat go up dramatically. These garnets that I recently purchased have gone up in price by 125% compared to the same time last year when I purchased some rough! It is not cheap and the cut gems ARE going to be expensive. I wish I could say it wasn't the case but it is. If you can find cheap true "fanta" orange spessartite mandarin gems out there, grab them because they won't be cheap or available for long. I wouldn't be surprised if these "fanta" garnets go the way of paraiba tourmaline with prices rising dramatically.
	Stone : Umbalite Garnet Item : #r151 Origin : Umba Valley, Tanzania Weight : 5 - 6.7 ct Clarity : Eye Clean/Very Very Slightly Included Comments : Umbalite garnet is perhaps the most sort after type of rhodolite garnet. Generally it is only found in smaller sizes and anything over ten carats rough starts getting very expensive. Its also not that easy to find. This material has the wonderful pink tones and is a shade lighter then other rhodolite. It cuts a very bright and sparkly gem and this material appears to be very clean and under close inspection I could not see any inclusions or silk. SEE A GEMSTONE CUT FROM THIS ROUGH HERE
	Stone : Malaya Garnet Item : #r142 Origin : Tanzania Weight : 79.9 ct Clarity : Eye Clean/Very Very Slightly Included Comments : Another great big grape of top quality malaya garnet... stones of this size, colour and quality are very scarce. Shapewise, this piece is like a robin's egg or a grape. This material is dark but cuts a lovely deeply coloured wine red with some orangey highlights. It is beautiful garnet and the gems cut from this material are true nightstones performing very well under incandescent lights. 	Stone : Malaya Garnet Item : #r141 Origin : Tanzania Weight : 22.4, 39.5 ct Clarity : Eye Clean/Very Very Slightly Included Comments : Nice piece of top quality malaya garnet. This material is dark but cuts a lovely deeply coloured wine red with some orangey highlights. It is beautiful garnet and the gems cut from this material are true nightstones performing very well under incandescent lights. 	Stone : Malaya Garnet Item : #r140 Origin : Tanzania Weight : 48.6 ct Clarity : Eye Clean/Very Very Slightly Included Comments : A large blocky piece of top quality malaya garnet. This material is dark but cuts a lovely deeply coloured wine red with some orangey highlights. It is beautiful garnet and the gems cut from this material are true nightstones performing very well under incandescent lights. 	Stone : Umbalite Garnet Item : #r120 Origin : Umba Valley, Tanzania Weight : 17.6 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : This is the real deal! Umbalite garnet is called the "King of Rhodolite" because of it's fantastic colour. It is scarce and only comes from one place and that is the Umba Valley, hence the name. This particular piece would probably suit a marquise or pear style design.
