Lapis Lazuli

This piece represents the best and finest quality. It is particularly fine grained and the ultramarine blue is rich and vivid. Lapis lazuli has a long history and been revered by many cultures. These pieces represent the best and finest quality. They are particularly fine grained and the ultramarine blue is rich and vivid. With this material you can see a very light dusting of golden pyrites - it is this pyrites coupled with the devine colour that made the ancients say that gazing upon the finest lapis lazuli was like gazing up at the most beautiful heavenly night sky. This is some top material from Afghanistan which produces the best in the world. I have some ideas for this material so stay tuned.
