Smokey Quartz

	Stone : Smokey Quartz Item : #r131 Origin : O'Briens Creek, North Queensland, Australia Treatment : None Weight : Large to Small Clarity : Eye Clean to Very Slightly Included Comments : I have a range of natural UNTREATED smokey quartz from O'Briens Creek, NQ. This is great material and ranges in tone and saturation from very light through to very dark. The vast majority of smokey quartz in the marketplace has been treated in some manner, such as being heated or irradiated. Natural untreated smokey quartz is a very beautiful gem when cut and this material has some quite lovely tones, like burnt umbers, raw umbers and bronzes.
