This rough is not for sale as rough - it is for customers to select and have a bespoke gem cut especially for them.

Tourmaline

	Stone : Pink Tourmaline Item : #r188 Origin : Himalaya Mine, California, USA Weight : 18 ct Clarity : Slightly Included Comments : The Himalaya Mine is famous for the stunning tourmalines that are found there. Greens, pinks, bi-colours, tri-colours and more. This piece of tourmaline is an intense pink, much better then the pics suggest. The colour truly is devine and with the C axis being open, there is no darkening of the stone. This piece stays gloriously open under incandescent lights and that is a sign of a good stone. Himalaya Mine tourmalines are also very collectable and always in demand, however due to the small nature of the deposit, very little is available. This stone will cut a slightly included stone but thats perfectly fine given the intense pink colour and the origin. This will be a unique stone and I think it can be cut several ways. It could be cut down the C axis to produce maybe an 8mm Acorn, or alternatively it can be cut for a 8-9mm square cushion or perhaps an Asscher. This stone will produce a fine collector's gemstone. 	Stone : Bubblegum Pink Tourmaline Item : #r175 Origin : Afghanistan Weight : 12 ct Clarity : Eye Clean / Very Slightly Included Comments : A very nice bubblegum pink tourmaline from Afghanistan. This is a nodule that has been naturally rounded. It has an open "C" axis with a well saturated colour. I think this piece will cut a round stone in the 8-9mm range. I'd say this stone also has a very nice and delicate violet mauve hint to it.
	Stone : Bubblegum Pink Tourmaline Item : #r174 Origin : Afghanistan Weight : 17 ct Clarity : Very Slightly Included Comments : This Afghani bubblegum pink tourmaline would have to be in my top three favorite gemstones. I just love the delicate pink, its a delightful pleasing colour, soft and pretty. This material is getting extremely hard to source so grab it while you can. I expect this stone to cut maybe a 9x11mm oval or similar. The stone has an open "C" axis which shows a strong pink colour. A really special stone. THIS PIECE OF ROUGH HAS BEEN CUT... 	Stone : Strong Pink/Rubellite Tourmaline Item : #r132 Origin : Nigeria Treatment : None Weight : 24.2 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : Top waterworn nodule of strong pink/rubellite tourmaline. I expect this to cut an eye clean to very very slightly included gemstone. The best colour is down the open "C" axis and would ideally suit an "Acorn" style cut. THIS PIECE OF ROUGH HAS BEEN CUT... 	Stone : Bubblegum Pink Tourmaline Item : #r133 Origin : Afghanistan Treatment : None Weight : 33.3 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : A devinely coloured piece of bubblegum pink tourmaline. This material cuts one of the most lively, brilliant and delicious gemstones you're likely to come across. It is also getting quite difficult to find top quality pieces especially in large sizes like this one. The best colour is down the open "C" axis and is ideally suited to an "Acorn" or "Phi Flower Dome" cut. THIS PIECE OF ROUGH HAS BEEN CUT... SEE THE GEMSTONE HERE
	Stone : Bubblegum Pink Tourmaline Item : #r134 Origin : Afghanistan Treatment : None Weight : 8.3 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : A beautifully coloured bubblegum pink tourmaline. It's a littler stronger in colour then #r133 and should cut a magnificent "Acorn". The mint green rind will cut away so that only the pink will end up in the gem. THIS PIECE OF ROUGH HAS BEEN CUT... 	Stone : Bubblegum Pink Tourmaline Item : #r128 Origin : Nigerian Treatment : None Weight : 14.5 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : This is an exceptionally fine piece of bubblegum pink tourmaline from Nigerian. The colour is about as fine a pink as you could want. There is a hint of mint green towards one end but from past experience this is located in the rind of the crystal and will cut away. The crystal has an open "C" axis which means that it is clear and transparent when viewed down the length of the crystal. Alot of tourmaline has the "C" axis closed which means it is opaque and dark or black and the resulting gemstone can look overly darkish. The most desirable tourmaline will have an open "C". The "C" axis on this piece of rough is like a kind of golden peach... it is beautiful. It is ideally shaped for an Asscher Cut and I estimate that it will be about a 9x9mm stone. THIS PIECE OF ROUGH HAS BEEN CUT... SEE THE GEMSTONE HERE
	Stone : Tourmaline Item : #r89 Origin : Afghanistan Weight : 13.8 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : This is a delightful tri-coloured afghan tourmaline in soft pastal tones ranging through bubblegum pink / clear / mint green. I expect this to cut a slightly included stone and would ideally suit a rectangular design. Open C axis. THIS PIECE OF ROUGH HAS BEEN CUT... SEE THE GEMSTONE HERE
	Stone : Tourmaline Item : #r90 Origin : Afghanistan Weight : 13.3 ct Clarity : Eye Clean to Very Slightly Included Comments : An excellent bi-coloured afghan tourmaline in soft pastal tones ranging mint green to clear. I expect this to cut an eye clean to very very slightly included stone and would ideally suit a long rectangular design. Open C axis with a lime green colour showing. THIS PIECE OF ROUGH HAS BEEN CUT... SEE THE GEMSTONE HERE
	Stone : Tourmaline Item : #r91 Origin : Afghanistan Weight : 15.4 ct Clarity : Eye Clean to Very Very Slightly Included Comments : A devine bubblegum pink afghan tourmaline in soft pastal tones. I expect this to cut an eye clean to very very slightly included stone and would ideally suit a round design... I already have it earmarked for my "Phi Flower Dome" design. Open C axis. 	Stone : Tourmaline Item : #r92 Origin : Afghanistan Weight : 5.8 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : A great blue/green (teal?) afghan tourmaline in perfect tones... just right! I expect this to cut an eye clean stone and would ideally suit a square design, probably a "Mock Check Square" would be my choice. Open C axis. THIS PIECE OF ROUGH HAS BEEN CUT... 	Stone : Tourmaline Item : #r93 Origin : Afghanistan Weight : 4 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : A top little bicoloured blue/clear afghan tourmaline. 	Stone : Tourmaline Item : #r96 Origin : Afghanistan Weight : 5.5 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : A top little bicoloured afghan tourmaline in excellent blue-green/clear tones. 	Stone : Tourmaline Item : #r98 Origin : Afghanistan Weight : 16.3 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : Raspberry pink tourmaline... best colour down the C axis. I expect this to cut an eye clean stone. Ideally a rectangular or hexagonal design would suit this stone. Open C axis. THIS PIECE OF ROUGH HAS BEEN CUT... SEE THE GEMSTONE HERE

It should cut an eye clean to very very slightly included stone. Ideally a long rectangular design would suit this stone. Open C axis but a little dark. THIS PIECE OF ROUGH HAS BEEN CUT... 	Stone : Tourmaline Item : #r102 Origin : Afghanistan Weight : 9.5 ct Clarity : Eye Clean Comments : An exceptional blue changing to green tourmaline. This is a cracker of a gem! I expect it to cut an eye clean stone. Ideally a rectangular design would suit this stone. THIS PIECE OF ROUGH HAS BEEN CUT... SEE THE GEMSTONE HERE
